Climbing Mt Zeil |
 Near the summit of Mt Zeil there’s a grove of cycads, ancient palm-like plants stemming from the Jurassic period. The fact that they’re able to survive on such steep rocky slopes is said to be “a relic of times when more hospitable climates prevailed” in central Australia. |
