SIGHTSEEING: The Cape Borda lighthouse in the north-western corner of
Kangaroo Island
was built in 1858. It is South Australia's only square
stone
lighthouse. Cape Borda was named in honour of Jean-Charles Borda, the
French astronomer and mathematician, who – wait for it – devised what is
now known as the Borda system for tallying votes in preferential
elections!
I wonder if that makes my trip tax-deductable? |
