On Monday, 2 February 2009, Patricia took us to Woolmers Estate, near Longford – about
half an hour's drive from Launceston, an historic homestead that was owned and
occupied by six generations of Thomas Archers. The rear older half is a classical
wooden farmhouse; the newer front half is an ornate Italian-style mansion.
