Climbing Mt Bogong


Eric and I set off for Mt Bogong at 5:35 am. Our early start was designed to beat the heat – the predicted high for Mt Beauty was over 30 degrees C (i.e., more than 85 degrees F). We were at about 600 metres above sea-level; we had almost 1,400 metres (or 4,500 feet) to climb.
