 Tuesday, 3 January 2006 – From Richmond to Triabunna: After a short first day’s ride, my second day’s ride was not only going to be my longest day’s ride, but it was also the one that most worried me the most: it was going to include two significant hills, and I was apprehensive about what I recalled was a twisting, turning road down to the coast. My fears proved to be groundless. A strong south-westerly tailwind and a recently resealed road with wide, smooth verges combined to make my ride both comparatively quick and highly enjoyable. |
