 Day 2 (Friday, 5 September 2025) – Dunquin (Dun Chaoin) to Cuas (An Chlais): What is more, while we were hemmed in – unable to move – this cow jumped over the fence and hedgerows surrounding its paddock. Sitting in the back seat of Mary Hurley’s car, I both got a good view of the escapee and realised how frightening a charging cow can be! Mary Hurley knew to whom the cattle belonged, and she rang the owner to let him know. |
