 Day 5 (Monday, 8 September 2025) – Scraggane Pier to Camp (An Cam): On the far side of the river, there’s a memorial commemorating James Cronin “who died for the Republic” in February 1921. It was a small reminder of the fact that the 1919 to 1921 war of independence is still a salient issue in Ireland. |
