The Dingle Way, 2025 |
 Day 5 (Monday, 8 September 2025) – Scraggane Pier to Camp (An Cam): The sea is on our right in this photograph because 20 minutes after we’d set out along the beach, we had to turn round and find a way off it. Our Hillwalk trip notes had warned us that “on very rare occasions, the route at the foot of the cliffs can be cut off by high tides.” Sadly, this was one of those occasions (indeed, the height of the tide was exacerbated by the fact that it was 8 September – the very day that there was a full moon). |
