 Day 6 (Tuesday, 9 September 2025) – Camp (An Cam) to Annascaul (Abhainn an Scail): Near the Crean statue there’s also this memorial “to the Volunteers who took an active part in the campaign against the Crown Forces during the Ballinclare Ambush and in memory of Patrick Kennedy murdered August 1920.” Interestingly, the names on the memorial include three Patrick Kennedys – Patrick K, Patrick P, and Patrick T Kennedy. |
