The Dingle Way, 2025

Day 7 (Wednesday, 10 September 2025) – Annascaul (Abhainn an Scail) to Dingle (Daingean Ui Chuis): Heather crossing the Garfinny bridge. It’s a medieval dry-stone bridge (i.e., made without mortar) and was probably built in the 14th or 15th Century. It is one of the very few medieval stone bridges still standing in Ireland and it’s the only bridge in Ireland designated as a National Monument.
