 Day 20 (4 October 1969) – COPENHAGEN: We spent the day seeing some of the sights in central Copenhagen. Charlie took this photo of Heather (on the left, wearing a grey suit and carrying a ball-shaped woven basket) and me (alongside Heather and wearing a duffle-coat) while we were walking down Strøget – the city’s well-known ‘walking street’, which is one of Europe’s longest car-free pedestrian streets. |
