The Heaphy Track |
 Heather and I left Brown Hut at 2:10 pm. The Department of Conservation notice that’s obscured by Heather’s pack said “The Heaphy Track is a walking track only. Mountain biking is not permitted on this track.” Nowadays, however, mountain bikers are permitted to cycle the track between 1 May to 30 November. |
