 Wednesday, 2 October 1991 – From Kathmandu to Jiri: We left the Hotel Kathmandu at 7:50 am, but a short while later – we hadn’t even reached the outskirts of the city – the bus had to stop for repairs. Luckily, the repairs were effective, and for the rest of the day we experienced no further mechanical problems. |
