 Monday, 28 October 1991 – Rest day in Namche Bazar: The food we’d been served throughout the expedition was frequently substandard and inadequate. As a result, when we were back in Namche Bazar, we spent a lot of time at the Thawa Lodge and Restaurant, which served delicious meals. This is a photograph that I took of Rod, Ralph, and Eric enjoying large bowls of yoghurt and muesli, as well as glasses of hot chocolate. Rod and Ralph were also amused to see Diane on the street below. |
