 Prior to his election as President of the United States, Bill Clinton served 12 years as Governor of Arkansas, and this painting of him is prominently displayed in the Arkansas state capitol building. As his official portrait shows, not only was Clinton young when he was first elected Governor (he was 32), but he looked even younger. As a result, Clinton was widely known as the Boy Governor. |
