 … a whale shark. Although they are filter feeders, they are sharks – not whales – and they are the largest species of fish in the world. The whale sharks we saw were about 7.5 metres / 25 feet long, but some grow to be as much as 12 metres in length. Seeing whale sharks and swimming with them was one the greatest wildlife experiences I’ve ever had. |
