 I was highly amused to see this election poster in the middle of nowhere – particularly because Nigel Gould had not been a Labor Party candidate in either the 2016 federal election (which was held only six days before we climbed Mt Meharry) or the election three years earlier. The last time Nigel Gould had stood for the House of Representatives as a ALP candidate was in 2010 … in a seat in New South Wales that was 4,000 kilometres / 2,500 miles away! |
