 Day 11 (Saturday, 26 September 2015) – Llanmynech to Castle Mill, near Chirk (14 miles / 22.5 kilometres): Although Llanmynech is in Wales, it’s very close to the Wales-England border, and a few minutes after leaving our hotel we entered the “County of Salop” – Salop being an old abbreviation for Shropshire – and we were once again in England. |
