The Routeburn Track |
 After climbing Conical Hill, we returned to the Harris Saddle Shelter to collect our packs, and at 12:30 pm we began hiking along what is in effect a contour path on the western side of Ocean Peak from the shelter towards Lake Mackenzie. This is a photograph looking back at Conical Hill. The contour path is clearly visible about a quarter of the way up from the bottom of the picture. |
