 Architecture / buildings – New Zealand: This is my favourite photograph of the New Zealand parliament. The Basil Spence-designed executive wing (popularly known as the Beehive) is on the left, while the main parliamentary complex (which contains the House of Representatives) fills the centre of the picture. I took this photograph on 8 November 2007, and it was published on the metvuw meteorological website as its Photo of the Day on 29 November 2007: it was the first time that one of my pictures was published on the metvuw website. |
