 Architecture / buildings – Spain: Rows of columns and two-tiered arches in the Mezquita in Cordoba. The Great Mosque was built in 785, but – after the reconquest of Spain by Catholic forces – it was converted to a cathedral in 1236. I took this photograph on 25 October 2010. |
