 EDUCATION – St Stithians College: Another good friend at school was Bill Moir (who is on the left, standing alongside Patrick Vickers in this photograph that I took of them in April 1962). Bill was a year behind me at school, while his older brother, Alastair, was in the class above me and was head prefect at St Stithians in 1960. Alastair and Bill and their two sisters lived a few blocks away from us in Parktown North, so we saw quite a lot of them outside of term-time too.
