Climbing Mt Whitney |
 After a night back at our motel in Independence, Eric and I drove to Frazier Park, California, on Friday, 20 July, in order to visit Dave Prigge, whom I’d first met 49 years earlier in Zermatt, Switzerland, and whose holiday house – where Eric and I spent our last night in California prior to flying to Europe – is most appropriately in Zermatt Drive. It was great seeing Dave again, and the three of us enjoyed an exceptionally pleasant evening. |
