Climbing Mt Woodroffe

At 7:15 am, the first rays of the sun illuminated the top of Mt Woodroffe. Looking at the mountain, I also reflected that if I were ever to climb it again, I would tackle it, subject to good spinifex protection, by going directly up the main face of the mountain, probably just to the right of the creek bed in the centre of the picture. It would be a shorter – and almost certainly no harder – climb than the route that Eric and I used to get to and from the summit.
