Climbing Bimberi Peak |
 We reached the summit of Bimberi Peak / Mt Bimberi (1,913 metres / 6,276 feet) at 9:25 am on Sunday, 3 January 2010 – just under four hours after leaving the car on the Currango Plains. Bimberi thus became the second of the eight Australian state and territory highpoints that Eric Hodge and I have climbed together, which is why we're both giving the summit two thumbs up. |
