80 years in 80 photographs |
 1965 Student politics took me to Perth, the capital of Western Australia, in February 1965, when I attended the annual council meeting of the National Union of Australian University Students. (I’m fourth from the right in the back row of this photo.) Later in the year, student politics also saw me elected President of the Tasmania University Union. In 1965 student politics also caused my grades to drop noticeably but, thankfully, not catastrophically. |
