 1972 Dating this photograph that Heather took of me sitting in our lounge watching a game of rugby with a glass of beer in my hand was easy. I was looking at the first-ever live television broadcast of a rugby test match in New Zealand. It was on 16 September 1972, and the All Blacks beat Australia 38-3. |
