 1986 My initial appointment at the Victoria University of Wellington (VUW) was as the university’s Director of Continuing Education, a position I held from 1 February 1981 till 24 January 1994, before reverting to full-time political science teaching. In 1986 VUW’s Centre for Continuing Education moved into new premises which were named after a former director, Arnold Hely. This picture of Arnold Hely’s widow and me was taken during the opening ceremonies for the newly refurbished building. |
