 1994 In between conducting research in Scandinavia and climbing in Argentina, I visited Britain briefly in December 1994 and while I was in England my half-brother Anthony flew over from Portugal to see me. We met in Camberley, Surrey, where this photo of the two of us was taken on 8 December 1994. I am so pleased it was, because I never saw Anthony again. He died four years later when he was only 62 years old. |
