Climbing Backbone Mountain, Maryland |
 When I opened the mail box, I saw that a “Highpointing the USA” decal had been placed there by Sam Stone and Allen Lamb, which amused me because Backbone Mountain was the last highpoint I would be climbing / visiting in 2016, and a year earlier I’d seen and photographed another of their decals at Spruce Knob, West Virginia, which was the last highpoint I climbed / visited in 2015. |
