Climbing Backbone Mountain, Maryland

On 6 November 2016, I hiked up to the summit of Backbone Mountain, the highest point in Maryland. Backbone Mountain is 3,360 feet / 1,024 metres above sea-level; it is the 32nd highest of the fifty US state highpoints; and it was the 45th US state highpoint that I'd climbed, hiked up, or visited.
