 Shortly before 11:00 am, I got back to my rental car which was parked beside US-219. In the course of two 15-day road trips during the period from late September through to early November 2016, I’d successfully climbed / visited eight new state highpoints – namely, the highpoints in Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland, but my 2016 highpointing adventures were now over.
