 This is a notice near the Josephine Falls warning walkers about stinging trees. Thankfully, though, stinging trees weren’t a problem for us on Mt Bartle Frere: most of the mature trees had been felled by Cyclone Yasi which swept through the area in February 2011, and the new saplings that had grown since then were easy to avoid. |
