 Finally, before flying out of Cairns on Wednesday, 31 August 2011, we went to Kuranda, where I visited the butterfly sanctuary and spent 75 minutes trying to photograph a range of beautiful butterflies. The most beautiful butterflies were the "dazzling electric blue" Ulysses butterflies. However, because they are "powerful but erratic" fliers, they were also one of the two most difficult species to photograph. |
