 “Basecamp” for my “assault” on Black Mesa was the Townsman Motel (which, as this photo shows, is next to a car sales yard) in Boise City. The population of Boise City, Oklahoma, is only about 1,200 people, and the “city” should not be confused with Boise, the capital of and largest city in Idaho (which has a population in excess of 200,000). |
