Climbing Black Mesa, Oklahoma |
On 29 September 2016, I hiked to the top of Black Mesa. It’s 4,973 feet / 1,516 metres above sea-level and is the highest point in Oklahoma. It is also the 23rd highest of the fifty US state highpoints, and it was the 40th US state highpoint I'd climbed, hiked up, or visited. |
