 This sign stands beside the road a few yards past the “Welcome to Kentucky” sign, but it’s misleading. This is not the top of Black Mountain. To reach the summit, I had to turn left and drive up a dirt road next to the rusty signpost that’s just visible near the left-hand edge of the photograph. |
