 Day 2 (Saturday, 25 September 2010) – Larrasoaña to Pamplona (16.5 kms): Pamplona is the capital of the Navarra region and close to Spain’s Basque country, and in the early evening there was a demonstration in one of the city’s squares in favour of greater Basque autonomy. The young man near the centre of the picture is carrying a large Basque flag. |
