Walking the Camino de Santiago

In September-October 2010, Heather and I spent 27 days on Spain’s El Camino de Santiago. We spent 24 days walking just over 500 kilometres (310 miles) on the first and final thirds of the Camino. In order to cover the roughly 230 kilometre-long central section of the Camino, however, we caught buses from Burgos to Astorga.
