 Day 1 (Friday, 24 September 2010) – Roncesvalles to Larrasoaña (27.0 kms): Only 790 kilometres to go! It should be noted, however, that whereas it’s 790 kms by road from Roncesvalles to Santiago de Compostela, the distance walkers cover is 751 kms, and Heather and I skipped 229 kms of that by catching buses between Burgos and Astorga. |
