Camino de Santiago |
 Day 18 (Monday, 11 October 2010) – Ponferrada to Trabadelo (32.5 kms): A few days before we finished walking the Camino de Santiago, I tripped and fell. I instinctively put out my hands to break my fall and my left hand landed on a mature chestnut pod. Not only was it very painful, but for weeks afterwards I also had chestnut prickles embedded in the palm of my hand. |
