 Day 7 (Thursday, 30 September 2010) – Logroño to Navarrete (13.0 kms): Many churches in Spain were locked when we tried to look inside them, but the 16th-century Church of the Assumption in Navarrete – with its large Baroque altar-piece – was open. However, we soon found out the church was open only because a funeral was about to be held in it. |
