 Day 21 (Thursday, 14 October 2010) – Triacastela to Sarria (26.0 kms): This statue in the main chapel in the St Julian monastery in Samos is probably meant to depict St James himself, because he’s often portrayed as though he were a pilgrim with a staff, calabash and scallop shells making his way to Santiago de Compostela. |
