Camino de Santiago |
 Day 23 (Saturday, 16 October 2010) – Portomarín to Palas de Rei (22.0 kms): To qualify for a compostela, the Catholic church's certificate vouching that a pilgrim has walked the Camino, peregrinos have to have walked at least the last 100 kilometres to Santiago de Compostela. As we were now well past the 100-kms-to-go mark, the Camino at this stage was far busier than we'd ever before experienced it.
