 After a short while, I reached this signpost. It confirmed what I’d understood to be the case – namely, that the hike from the Fork Ridge Trailhead to the summit of Clingmans Dome was a little over three-and-a-half miles and that my total hike for the day would be 7.2 miles / 11.6 kilometres. |
