 Wednesday, 4 January 2006 – From Triabunna to Swansea: … Spiky Bridge, where I pulled off the highway to look at the bridge and its strange parapet of vertical (rather than horizontal) stones. The bridge was built by convicts in 1843, and is seven-and-a-half kilometres south of Swansea. |
