Drakensberg mountains, April 1962 |
 On the sixth day of the climbing trip, we left Twins Cave. However, after only a short while we paused to regroup at the top of the Umlambonja Gulley prior to starting the steep climb down the Drakensberg mountains from the Basutoland plateau. I am not sure who the student on the left is, but from left to right the others in this picture are Dutchie de Maar, Jonathan Arthur, Peter Jankowitz, Selwyn Miller, Gordon Martin (strumming on the guitar), Pat Vickers, and Robert Thomson. |
