The Drakensberg mountains, April 1962 |
In April 1962, I helped Dave Dodds and André le Roux lead a climbing trip to the Cathedral Peak region of South Africa’s Drakensberg mountains. The aim of the trip was to introduce fifteen pupils from my old high school to climbing and hiking and to the beauty of the mountains. |
