Driskill Mountain, Louisiana |
 I left Monroe at about half past eight on Tuesday morning, 6 May 2014, and drove west on US interstate highway I-20 for 50 miles / 80 kilometres. At exit 69, I turned off the interstate highway and south onto Louisiana state route 147 prior to taking Louisiana state routes 797 and 507 in order to reach the Driskill Mountain trailhead. The route I took is indicated in yellow on this photograph of a map of northern Louisiana. |
