Driskill Mountain, Louisiana

On 6 May 2014 I hiked to the top of Driskill Mountain, the highest point in Louisiana. It was the 30th US state highpoint that I had climbed or visited. Driskill Mountain is 535 feet / 163 metres above sea-level, and – depending on one’s perspective – is either the 48th highest or the third lowest of the United States’ fifty state highpoints.
